Pfrsantos little corner of complaints

Hopefully we can get this closer to what we are used to. I'm not a fan either of the user interface so far. I know Def is working hard at getting it closer to what we are used to. Hopefully the software allows it.
I'm also hoping we can get closer to the sunrise color scheme.
I was actually happy (more or less) with these colors. Do we really want to go back to the various shades of grey?
I like the Sunrise theme colors. I was never a fan of the green colors of shelflife and used the older Curve theme for a long time until Sunrise came along. I like the shades of grey myself as it seems easier to read , but don't know if I'm in the minority or not.

When I flip back and forth between here and the forum the difference is quite apparent. This is just my opinion of course. It would be good to get more trusted members over here to chime in with their thoughts.

The users avatar/info take up a lot of space. Any chance of making it smaller, blending more into the post, like in the old forum?
Weird thing: just clicked on SteveC's username. Got sent to his profile page but this message box was still visible/working.
Discovered that in Night mode the quoted posts are even less visible/noticeable.

There's a new feature, the possibility of having an image in your profile, besides the avatar.
It's just that the dimensions/format are quite weird (wide ultra panoramic) and not very easy to fit a nice image into.

New image insert test:

We can see the posts' revisions but can't chose/restore any previous version (only 300 to edit the post). Does it make sense to have this feature or is it by default?
Can the time for editing a post be changed, to a different/higher value?
Update: just added @defender as an editor to this post. Does this mean he can edit it at any time, even after the 300 seconds limit?

Following last post's editing test, I'll add myself as an editor and see if it does anything...

These links in the main page are not working:
Community Links
Multitool.Org
EDC-TVAwlso, the copy/paste kept the Multitool.Org link but lost the EDC-TV (*)
I keep having to log back in. Isn't there a "keep logged in" feature we (you) could enable?
(*) think I figured it out. Having a xxx.Org (maybe awlso a xxx.Com, xxx.Edu and so on automatically creates a link function on the string).

Testing to make sure I didn't break something

Fixing the annoying floating footer now (hopefully) and then putting the light/dark switch on every page so you don't have to open threads to find it.

The Main Site at Multitool.Org is offline and has been for a while, so that's why that link doesn't work.
The EDC-TV link doesn't work because it's .com and not .org, so that's an easy fix.
GearFeed is working, so that's an easier fix.
Need to add SAKWiki as well.
